FRICON transforms itself to Gulfhost 2021 Dubai with face-to-face support from regional agents.

Taking place at the Dubai World Trade Center, the FRICON stand is at the Z6 2E22 position.

During the event, we have had the opportunity to be visited by several official Portuguese entities, among which the delegation AICEP – Portugal Global, a governmental entity dedicated to promoting the expansion of Portuguese companies in foreign markets.

During Gulfhost 2021, the first in physical format in 2021, we mainly promoted our solutions for supermarkets, ice cream, and frozen foods in this market.

Despite having a number of visitors “slightly below normal” in global terms to the event, when compared to previous editions, associated with the current pandemic reality, at FRICON we felt an increase in interest and a significant increase in the visitation rate.

Taking into account the current reality, we feel the need to transform our promotion strategy, having tested a hybrid model, which will serve as the basis for offline/online promotional work during 2021.

This process, following a strict safety, hygiene, and detachment protocol, was made possible through the close involvement between the teams on-site and the one found at the FRICON headquarters. Through the flexibility of all operational processes, communication, and promotion, we guarantee the well-being of all the human resources involved, having so far impacted visitors from 23 markets and 4 continents.

Along with 26 other Portuguese companies, which are present at the Gulfhost 2021 Dubai, FRICON has been feeding relationships and the needs of its customers, through the possible online channels. This attitude proved to be essential so that the contacts made at the fairs were more “incisive” and, allow a positive harvest of results in the medium-long term.
