For the third consecutive year, the festival had the support of FRICON, a partnership that makes the event increasingly exclusive.

The Impact of the FRICON-CURTAS Partnership

In this event, the FRICON partnership contributed to the promotion of culture and sustainability. The company demonstrated its commitment to the environment by providing energy efficient equipment in order to reduce the festival’s ecological footprint and encourage other companies to follow suit. In addition, this direct partnership with CURTAS Vila do Conde allowed expressing FRICON’s support and efforts in supporting the organization of national and international events. Another notable aspect of this partnership was the awarding of the public prize in the international competition, by FRICON for the 2nd consecutive year. In this 31st edition, the prize was awarded to the Portuguese short film “2720“, with the artist Basil da Cunha in the direction, with the aim of portraying the conditions experienced in a peculiar neighborhood of Lisbon.

In partnership with the company Gelados GLOBO, FRICON carried out a brand activation on the last day of the festival, which consisted of delivering ice cream, from kids to adults, after their cinema sessions. Renowned events, such as CURTAS, allow for closer relationships between companies, allowing the identification of new emerging business opportunities.

Not least important, the dissemination of the new FRICON Era through the new motto and characteristic design, allowed to reinforce the organization’s positioning: “THE PURITY OF BEING SUSTAINABLE“, in order to emphasize the characteristics and attributes of its own sector of activity.
