Um Porto para o Mundo- Janela das Almas is a street musical which takes place on August 17 – 20, with two extra performances this year on the 21^st and 22^nd.

This event is part of the municipality Vila do Conde’s agenda, whose main objective is to protect and preserve the ancestral technique of building wooden boats.

The event is considered the largest street musical in Portugal interpreted by the surrounding community itself and represents the enormous legacy of the city’s past. It relied on the participation of 400 hundred volunteers without acting experience, who are proud to contribute now to the past activities that led us into this world of new explorations and conquests.

This event is of great importance since it included members from schools and associations such as Santa Casa da Misericórdia, MADI, and MAPADI, which are establishments that offer shelter to people with physical and psychological disabilities.

Additionally, the main theme of the 4^th edition is the 700^th anniversary of the Monastery of Santa Clara since its founding. The Monastery created the environment and atmosphere surrounding the whole play, and Fricon supported this event proudly held in Vila do Conde.
